Indeed the competition drew the attention of many Indonesian students from the four major universities in town. SMUKI actively participated in this event by sending two teams for the soccer tournament and ten individuals for the badminton and table tennis matches. We are proud to announce that SMUKIers fared very well against the member of our rival universities. Maybe the champion title for coming PPIS CUP is not a farfetched dream.

In the street soccer showdown, SMUKI team one and team two managed to clinch the top and second position respectively in their own grouping which consist of five teams each. The semifinal between our own two teams was inevitable. The match was eventually won by team two, which went on to the Final round before losing out in penalties shootout against team SIM.

In badminton and table tennis competition, SMUKIers did exceptionally well in mixed double badminton category. The three pairs playing in this category finished top in their seeded group respectively, ensuring all SMUKI final round matches.

In the other badminton’s category, SMUKIers did quite well before losing to their oppositions by a fine margin.
